4x4 trails

I'm looking for some 4x4 trails within about 1.5 hours of the Okc metro.
I got a new truck that's ready for off road use and want to play around a bit.
Nothing crazy like hills so steep you can flip or mud so thick you need a tractor on hand. Not trying to trash a brand new truck.

Big Red is the only one I've been to in OK other than at Disney, but that was when it was public. Spent lot's of time in Arkansas, TX, TN and CO though. Moab is still on the to do list.

Only been to Disney myself. Not bad at all. Can get technical if you really seek it out. There are a ton of parks listed on Google, but half of em restrict anything bigger than a sxs. Being down south, we usually hit the two red rivers and big sandy creek.

Yeah I've looked on Google and I'm seeing a bunch of Private/members only trails or those only for dirt bikes, 4 wheelers and sxs
I'm thinking I need to find a "good ol' boy" that has some land with mud and hills if there aren't any public use trails around.

Depending how good a driver you are, and the abilities of your buggy, the trails in the Wichta Mountains Wildlife Refuge are only blocked by signs... May you ride eternal, shiny and chrome.

It's a new Ram Rebel with the Hemi. From everything I've looked up, it seems pretty capable.

If you are into "muddin", there is Sun Dog Trails in Lexington and Soggy Bottom in Wanette, both on the South Canadian River. I haven't been to Soggy Bottom, but I spent a few hours at Sun Dog in my Jeep and it was pretty enjoyable. Nothing really technical, but you can get your truck pretty dirty. [emoji38]

The best one in OK that I've been to was actually open to the public, on a guys ranch south out Alabaster Caverns. I think it was open for just 4 or 5 years and I'm not sure it ever opened back up after 2018.

Plenty of crawling Clayton too but it's pretty extreme, almost buggy only terrain, and they scratch and tear things up.

If you ever find yourself at Hot Springs, AR, Check out Hot Springs Off Road Park. Trails Rated 1-5, you can easily do 1 and 2 without scratching anything.

Does Sundog also have trails? I don't mind the mud, but I really like trail riding. I'm not afraid of scratches, so that is not a problem.
