All of the restaurants, gyms, hair salons, airlines and subway systems claim to be doing anti bacterial cleaning every 30 minutes of touched areas.

Where the heck are they getting all of this anti-bacterial spray and I can't even get one can of Lysol or Clorox to clean the food packages I get from the grocery store or the top of my kitchen cabinets !

I assume they get it from the manufacturer. Amazon is only shipping these things to gov and businesses accounts right now.

As many people visit places more than people visit your home, I guess the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few.

Most businesses get this stuff in bulk from janitorial supply companies. Those guys have huge standing orders with the manufacturers and bigger suppliers, so they get preferential treatment when they place their orders. Plus, it's not like they're buying the same retail-packaged stuff you're getting at Walmart; they're generally buying in bulk, and often generic supplies.

Got some hand sanitizer from Crest yesterday. It is only 62% alcohol. Made the comment about companies short changing the uninformed public and was looked at funny by other shoppers.

You want an anti-viral product. If its a disinfectant too more better. Your local janitorial supply should be able to sell you a gallon jug of suitable product, available in a variety of scents and unscented, that will work in 10 minutes. Typically you dilute your gallon (128 oz) to 2 oz per gal of water. Yep, about a $15-20 jug will make 64 gallons. Buy a new empty gal jug, a 1 oz dispenser pump and a spray bottle or three while you are at the supply. Such products are safe to use on most all surfaces. You can buy specialty products that will work in 3 minutes but be prepared to pay dearly for them.

Be careful with bleach; it is not safe or suitable for near so many surfaces.
