I remember growing up, every single summer my grandpa would buy me a brick of .22lr either Remington thunderbolt, or federal. It would last me the entire summer since I had a single shot .22. killed a lot of squirrels and rabbits.

My brother and I would gather bottles to sell(back when you could do that) and wait for federal bricks of 22 to go on sale for $6.90 at k-mart.

I still have boxes of .22 my grandpa bought. I will never shoot them. I have my grandpa's Glenfield model 60, loaded with the bullets he loaded into the tube. I may probably never shoot it. It's the only gun of his I got after he passed.
