How did this end up shaking out? Make enough to fund more hunts this season for the young ones?
We made enough to fund 2 children. The lucky winner of the bull elk hunt was a 15 year boy from Edmond. Sticky Stokes sold the ticket. The boy and his parents raised the roof 6 inches from shouting about the son winning. The boys father will accompany him to New Mexico for the hunt and watch, with pride, his son, hopefully, harvest a big bull. I am gathering a few things for them to take that will enhance their hunting experience. I may also take them to the OKCGC and do some long range shooting.
Excellent! Actually it sounds like you funded three youth hunts. 2 in state and 1 out of state. ;-) I am glad to hear that a youth won!
The Outfitter is a wonderful Christian man and the father/son are going to have a trip of a lifetime.
