Careful... the public lands I used to hunt,... a guy would get blasted from 3 different directions doing that!
Why would they pick out the guy with the fan, and not the other turkeys? I don't hunt public land.
That is awesome. That close he should have left the shotgun at home and macheted the neck.

Got my first turkey yesterday morning at about 7:30AM. I tried a little turkey hunting for the first time last year, but never saw anything closer than about 600 yards, and on somebody else's property. I was a little better prepared this year, but opening day was a bust. I heard a few gobbles, but didn't see a thing. Then I went out Tuesday and managed to bring in a hen and this tom.
