I just saw on the news that Amazon is going to start charging sales tax in Oklahoma
next month. Better get your orders in soon. Mary Fallin just raised our taxes.
Guess Amazon Prime isn't going to be as good a deal now.

This is definitely going to cut into the benefit of having Prime for sure. The tax is often the only benefit of not buying local.

With more and more sales being made on the Internet, state and local sales tax revenues decline more and more. With a state budget crisis looming, it is easy to see the rationale for collecting tax on Internet sales. It has been a long time coming, but Internet taxes are here to stay.
