In the event of a economic collapse i see this being a total possibility. King obama will declare a national state of emergency and start confiscating all the guns .. Before a standing army can rule, the people must be disarmed. Think hurricane katrina on a national level.

Dont think for one second that the army will not shoot US citizens. Not all the nazis agreed with genocide but they still did it anyway. All the king has to do is convince everyone that its for the greater good.
