I moved all of my a/v stuff to a extra closet. I put in a wired ir repeater and it ended up not working. I am going to send that back and try something else. I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas or suggestions.

Thanks for any help and advise in advance...

Ir repeater is just about the only way to go What brand is the repeater? Model number? Russound has had some bad targets and their customer service sux. Also, The old ones / cheap ones usually were not compatible with all Hz ranges in remotes. Also any Rf remotes? What are you trying to control?

There are two different types of signals. RF (radio freq) and IR (infra red). Need to make sure you are using a repeater that is able to transmit the correct type of signal. I prefer the repeaters that use a triangal base unit and a triangal repeater that sits in the AV closet in front of the equipment.
