I recently bought some mil-spec stuff for less than 50 cents per round. It's out there

That’s good hear. Mostly, I was speaking to well made brass cased 5.56 ammunition that’s loaded to mil-spec as a baseline. I’m not knocking steel cased ammunition, but I don’t know how much of it is loaded to the same standard.

Right you are HiredHand, most are assemblers, or manufacture just a few select parts and job out the rest.

I've found that for the average AR-15 owner, the title of "best" often depends on what they have in their safe at the time.
I knew good and well that my ARs made from BCA and Anderson parts were nothing you’d try to show off or brag about as they sat in my safe. But then again, I also follow the traditional belief that firearms should be built and owned for business-only purposes.
