Oh, and that "creepy" honda guy is Sammy Kahloff(sp) I dont think he is that creepy. His family has ran don carlton honda for years.

You're a fortunate person. Doc Rock audio was a staple in Tulsa in the 80's.

Not just Tulsa. She was on the air in OKC, too.

Yeah, Doc Rock must have been 'exclusive' to the Tulsa market. Linda was on in OKC, but I don't remember Doc Rock.

Just remember - if not for the local "colorful" advertisers, there would be no local TV stations for our favorite programs. Those car dealers and furniture stores have propped up local TV so they could survive to the next political season when the campaign ads take over the airwaves.

That creepy Honda guy, I swear I can smell the cologne when his commercials are on.

OKC folks, remember Lynn Hickey in the van up on a crane? Dodge Dynastys, only $199 a month!!!

From what I heard, Lynn Hickey had the philosophy that he could be successful so long as he sold one car to everyone in OKC. I don't think he had any hope of selling more than one to any one person.

I also heard that when negotiating with possible buyers, some salesmen would throw the keys to the customer's trade-in up onto the roof of the building.
