Democrats dont vote for the person, they vote for the ideology. Biden doesnt discourage them at all because they dont care that a cabal is really running the country.

Republicans vote for the man and if that person isnt 90% of ehat they want they whine and many stay home.

This is a national embarrassment and a matter of national security. The Democrats have to remove Biden but they don't want Harris and Harris according to the Constitution steps in to serve as president if the president is incapacitated. So what can the Democrats do, the speaker of The House is next in line and the certainly don't want him or any Republican as president. I believe that this is a matter of a Constitutional crisis, it sure seems like one.
I'm not sure what is going to happen but it is going to be very complicated. Harris wants the presidency and to shun her for someone else will not be an easy task. I have read where Obama selected and pushed her for VP and there is no doubt that Obama will have some input as to Biden's replacement.
If the United States were attacked during this period, I fear for the nation because we have so much infighting and there are people in highly sensitive positions that aren't necessarily qualified or they have limited experience or none. The talented and well-versed Generals have been forced out and we have "yes men" in charge. There is no McCrystal or other Generals around now, all we have is paper pushing Generals interested in their next star or retirement.
