Before you get too far into your "wish list" for modifications to that pistol, go over to Wayne Novak's website and read his recommendations about the things that are really needed for a good carry pistol. Especially look at the "reliability" suggestions, also the sights and trigger pull suggestions.

All of those are being addressed in the bulid. Thanks for the input though, I spent alot of time on Novak's site looking at what he offered and his suggestions.

I'm not a fan of the bobtail either, however, Wilson's "Round Butt" is actually pretty nice. It seems MUCH more comfortable in my hand... just feels natural.

BTW: This is coming from a guy who really has a dislike for WC... But I give credit where it's due...

It will be my #1 carry gun when I get it back, the sights and trigger/hammer are being taken care of as well. Dawson 3dot tritium, C&S trigger pull kit and STI lightweight trigger, Ed Brown Beavertail.

Have you had any other work done to the frame other than the Beavertail?

No the beavertail will be the only frame work other than if I do go with the bobbed frame. The gun was 100% factory when I dropped it off
