I know this is a longshot, but does anyone know or been to the older gentlemens CCW class on the southside of OKC ? I have heard he usually has a small class and sometimes just a couple persons at his home or garage . Thought I would check here first, may have his business card somewhere but cant find it yet. I don't think Mr. Adkisson is teaching anymore. He was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer this past summer. I know he resigned his position with TriCity Gun Club in order to spend time with his family. He is a great guy and a wonderful instructor.
I took my instructor classes from Gene. Rifle and Shotgun were just last month; Pistol a little earlier. I know he's been grooming Kevin, the chief instructor fro Big Boys, to take over as a Training Counselor when he is forced to retire.
