Reviving the thread because...

CMP just announced Round 4 of 1911 sales. They are now upping the lifetime purchase limit to 2 guns. You can't order 2 this go round, but if you already got one you can submit an application for another.

I'm off again in a few days to my consulting gig, and I've got to get ready for dove this weekend. I just don't have time to fill out the forms and get the packet in the mail. Be sure to post what you get. I understand they have plenty still.

It took me about 10 mins to do all the paperwork and make copies of stuff, and to join the GCA. I still have to get the form notarized. Other than that, it's ready to go. And they're accepting apps until Sep 30...don't give up on it yet.
