Before you eat....get your players card, it's cheaper.

Blue Crab/just before they're cooked..Mmmmmmm..Galveston.

Gaidos:

Inside looking out on the Gulf:

Willie G's........Bayside of G Town.

Looking out on the Bayside at the oil rigs, dolphins, and sometimes the cruise ship.

If It's king crab legs, we are on it for Remington Park. Haven't been there in years.
Ate at Willie G's one time. Word of warning, don't leave the dock in front of Willie G's in the offshore boat and get too close to a docked cruise ship. You will be looking down the barrels of M-16's and a 3" deck gun manned by 19 year old coast guardsmen/women in short order. The arse chewing and potential legal implications will make one give the cruise ships a wide berth in the future.:hey3:

I moved from an area in Va. about 35 miles from the bay to Ok. in 1978. The only seafood that I've had in Ok. that came close was flown in from the gulf by the company jet for big feeds. My wife and I get our fill every time we go back home.

Ate crab at Tracy's Crab Shack in Juneau, Alaska once. It was awesome and I can say I had Alaska King Crab IN Alaska! LOL! Kind of expensive, but my daughter and I got one order and huddled over a table and snarfed it up like homeless people. :pms2:

Yeah that place was great!!! Crab cakes were fantastic too. North Carolina and Maine dosen't disappoint either.

I too like seafood and have heard that firelake Grand is a place to go but have never been, too expensive for my budget..
Lobster is my favorite, the sweetest of the crustacians, haven't had in many years..:cry11:
Crab next, if their fresh and hot I crack and eat without the tools..
Scallops are up there too and I get them of all places at dollar general 2 packs for 5 bucks, butter and garlic..Scampy style..
Shrimp, fried, peel and eat with cocktail sauce, or scampy won't turn down some shrimp either..
As a kid we vacationed in Maine sometimes and the $5-7 dollar lobster dinners could not be beat..

That's what I've heard, as well, but I'm not really a seafood fan, plus I've never been there myself, so I couldn't really tell you if it's accurate.

Think its called "Pier 88" on I240 was pretty good.

All crab here has been frozen, we buy the frozen crab at Sams and use our pressure cooker......its as good as any crab you will get at a restaurant.
