Why not just walk up to him after you're done for the day next time and tell him it's the last time you'll be visiting now that he's started being this rude? Sounds like you're a regular so maybe it'll make him think on it some.

It won't stop me persay from going there but it will cause me to rethink it, he does need to find a balance and sooner rather than later.

I wouldn't call my self a regular figure maybe 5-6 times a year but I have been going there for almost 10 years.

I ended up having to remove the stock and buffer tube from an AR to comply since he refused to let me just close the case and leave.

So, my question is,,,
What would he have done if you tried to "just close the case and leave."

I mean was he somehow going to physically restrain you?
Was he going to pull a pistol on you and force your compliance?

I would have simply closed my case and walked away,,,
It's that simple gentlemen.

Anything on his part to restrain me would have been assault,,,
I for one would have sworn out a complaint and had him arrested.

Just because it's private property doesn't negate the rule of law.

Coalgate, Ok.
Johnson184 that is a long ways from Tulsa.
I assume you were here with buddies.

I have shot there many times in the last 7 years never any issues like that.. he must have got dinked pretty bad.

Here is a thought that will greatly help you out.
You have multiple friends shooting and Banner is $10 a head to shoot.
If you have a valid OK hunting or fishing license or a wildlife passport you can shoot for free at Lexington gun range.
I go there very often.. the range is patrolled much more often and the ranger will check license .

They are keeping it very clean and new rules are taking effect
Only clay and paper targets or target stuff.. no more TV sets etc.. I like it ..

You all can save money going there instead of the 10 a head to Harry.
Where is Lexington? Never knew they had one. Like visiting gun ranges on weekends. If you don't mind, can you give me more info? Where it is, distances, and if you need to bring your own target stands.
I would appreciate it.

This link has most of the info you are looking for. I believe you have to take your own targets. I do not know about stands though. A valid hunting license is also needed to shoot there.

It would be false imprisonment if Harry tried keeping him there, actually.
