When gas goes up to $5.00/gal in a few it won't much matter. The repubs just need to drone and drone and drone the facts, they'll be called racist for it but so be it, facts are facts and there are many to pick from. Obama's made his bed now the repubs just need to man up and tell it like it is. I think Newt may be the only one with enough of a set to do it. The job numbers are a joke, like SMS said they cook the books on them so much everyone just expects it. But with $5.00 gas the economy isn't going anywhere.

gas has actually gone down over the last 45 years or so when compared to real money. in 1965, a silver dollar would buy you about 3 gallons of gas. today, that same silver dollar will buy you about 6 gallons of gas once you convert it from real money into uncle ben's funnybux.

however, it is only a matter of time before the real value of gas catches up. $5 a gallon is on the horizon. it is only a matter of time...
