Read "Brave New World" in high school in the mid-'70s. Excellent book and a spine-chilling concept.

As much as I am a fan of the book, I'd never seen a photo of him. I do know that he was in some ways the Michael Crichton of his time. He was in medical school until a hand injury excluded him from the profession. The science to a degree existed when the book was written.
