Had another great weekend on the Illinois, caught a mess of trout, got to break out the bamboo rods I just got in Friday and oh my! if I would have known they would cast as well as they did I would have never bought a graphite! they are a touch on the pricey side but I found a gentleman in Canada that ties them for a reasonable price not something you would hang on the wall but these are fishing machines! got the LB on and I got one :-)
Caught some good sized fish Sunday morning before the wind got all crazy, I had 2 over 14" and the LB got one right at 18" got a pic on my phone but left the cable at home or I'd post it. It's just about time to really get to fishing. Later,
