HOw is it people think THEIR money is what goes into food stamps, it is a government provided program, do you see $50.00 of your taxes on a receipt that go into the SNAP program? No you dont, and another point, you know that almost every teacher in the USA is eligible for food stamps right? not to mention anybody making under $20k a year, which is id say around 70-80% of america, People need to get off their high horse and realize the very system that grants food stamps, is what created the need for them in the first place by way of inflation.

1) Every dollar the governmnet spends comes from taxes. Our money.

2) Almost Every teacher in US eligible for food stamps? Poppy Cock. A lady I know gets $900/month disability and lives in a trailer. Can't get food stamps. Gotta sell the trailer and the land its on. She barely makes it and she earned every bit of that $900 paying taxes when she worked for 35+ years. Teachers in OK start at way more than $900/month and that's in OK which is (last time I cared to look) the 47th lowest in the country (might be, probably is even higher than that now). No way are almost all teachers eligible for food stamps.

3) 70% make less than $20K/year. Again poppy cock. Only 47% of individuals in the US earn less than $25K/year

Maybe...

Yes. Maybe they should. After all it is our money that the welfare crowd is using to eat, keep a roof over their heads and buy booze and drugs with.

You depend on the government just like people on TANF. The only difference is the degree.

Too bad you aren't concerned with bigger instances of fraud.
