Freeze dried sweet potatoes

Cut these in sticks. Blanched before freeze dried to keep color and texture.

They keep most of their original size after freeze dried.

I dunno how I missed your thread. Very nice. I have some freeze-dried carrots that are practically snow white. I dunno. I followed the directions. Oh well. One of these evenings real quick here I'll pull some out and taste test them in some ramen. Or Forbidden Rice.

Soon as my electrical problems are solved and my new freezer gets delivered, I'm gonna double down on my freeze drying.

I’m not a fan of sweet potatoes in any way, shape, or form, but I guess I would eat them in a zombie apocalypse scenario.
