What holster do you have that is giving you trouble? Do you shoot the 19 better than the 17?

If you want a 19 then just sell/trade your 17. You may or may not take a loss but then you'll have what you feel is the right match for you.

Definately holster/belt considerations are a must. I used to laugh at the Box-of-holsters idea, until I found one that really works well. LOL now I have a Box-of-holsters.
I chose the Don Hume PCCH, its relatively inexpensive and it works for me. My next trys will be the Crossbreed/Mtac/Ctac types. A little more expensive, but look, and Ive heard, a little more comfortable.

I carry the 17 almost exclusively. The best combo I have found for me is the Milt Sparks Summer Special II and a gunbelt from the beltman. sweatshirts and jackets in the winter make for easy concealment. Hawaiian shirts and bowling style shirts along with untucked Polo and rugby shirts are good for summertime concealment.
