I just started some tomato plants and pimento peppers. You guys make me feel like a danged amateur ...

Started a garden last year but after the wreck I didn't get out and mess with it much. Hopefully things will go better this year.

On a somewhat related note, does anyone know where I can get 3 or 4 rabbits??

Almost Easter... Check Atwoods or about any other feed store. I still have to build my boxes. Going to to onions, peppers, cucs and maders....

About 600 onions in the ground, plus cabbage, lettuce, and radishes.

Getting another 250-300 red onion plants this week.

Couple hundred pepper plants in the greenhouse, and ~100 tomato plants. Not sure how many of those will actually end up in the ground.

Not doing any potatoes this year. . .just don't have good luck with 'em.

We'll do a few rows of corn, beans, pickles, and squash later in the Spring.

I used to think gardening was just something old people did. Now I'm in my early 30s and for the last 10 years or so, our garden has been getting bigger every year.

Got to get some Tomatos and peppers in the ground this year, the parsley, cilantro, okra, chives and basil were the only things that survived the "Are you sure this is pesticide? Yes, I'm sure this is pesticide," fiasco of 2010.

Well, after my recent disappointing trip to WalMart today to get some fresh basil for my bruschetta, I guess I am going to have to do a little planting in the back yard...
