The 1911 is my choice but all of the guns listed are definitely worthy in thair own right and all are historically relevant but the 1911 holds a certain place in every one's Hart even non believers

Of those listed, I'd have to choose between the 1911 and the Colt SAA, but why is the K-Frame Smith not here?

I'm not the only sucker for those medium size S&Ws.

I had to go with the 1911 because it is a legend, but really wanted to vote Glock, because it is, well, a Glock.

Yeah I only had ten to work with, but the CZ75 is a total "doh!" moment. I think it is the most widely used handgun in the world still isn't it ? Maybe i'm making that up... I could have sworn I heard that... The most relevant suggestions so far are the CZ,[...]

I picked the Colt SAA because its been around longer and was shooting bad guys way before the others..
