I love the old Gunsmoke shows. Used to watch it as a kid, but the ones going back farther are even better.

Ol' Matt was always on the right side, and I don't remember him shooting a single dog.

Personally, I was kinda bummed out when Dennis Weaver left the show. Festus turned out pretty good though. Eventually...

Festus. He was more colorful and way more fun to try to understand.

I like Festus better than Chester, but I prefer the older episodes.
