You have to plan by the rsvp. It sucks that it happened, but that's the only way to do it. I'm glad the community made his birthday a good one

What sucks is that if you want to send invitations to the school,they make you invite the whole class. Then it seems impersonal. Many kids parents feel like they were just invited because that had too. The end result is this.

If the schools would let our kids only invite the few kids they really want to come then the parents of the kids that get the invite would know for sure they are wanted.

We went to the first party our kid got an invite for only to realize he wasn't really even friends with the kid the party was for. Now he is 9 and a don't have this problem, but at 6....

Glad this child got a happy ending.
