I liked that he was honest about why he was where he was. "I went to school for it, but then alcohol and drugs... I'm two years clean now."

But from another article it sounds like he has had a "few" run ins with the law

Ted Williams, 53, has been in and out of the court system for the past 20 years on charges ranging from theft and drug possession to escape and robbery. His most recent arrest was May 14, 2010, on misdemeanor theft charges.
