Homemade walk in cooler

I'm trying to design a walk in cooler in a enclosed building. It'll be roughly 7' x 7' x 9'. I'll use a air conditioner and a cool bot to cool with. I'll probably use closed cell foam insulation.

Has anyone done this and what recommendations do you have or things learned.

Cool bot works great SIL has one in a old walk in freezer we use it will freeze meat

A local deer processor back a few years ago found the box from a bobtail refrigeration equipped truck that was up for salvage. He removed the 8’X12’ insulated box, mounted it on blocks and installed a window unit AC unit.
He kept it at 36 degrees while processing a deer.

If I were building a walk in cooler (which I intend to eventually) I would focus on 5 things:

1: insulation, to include floor insulation.

2: seals. Make sure everything is airtight.

3: Thermal bridging.

We built one on a small 5x10 trailer. As calves legs/back/neck were injured in ropings we would gut and de hide and hang ‘em in the trailer to take to the processor. It had a small 10k A/C and kept the meat perfect till able to take to the processor. It worked great for years and years.
