300 Win Mag with a 29 inch barrel on a blue printed remington 700 action. I've won trophy rifles at Camp Perry on the 1000 yd course with it.

Out to 1000 yards I like the .308 and .243. The .243 is a bit small for elk, but I have seen two killed with a .243.

.270 Win Rem 700 adl that I got for Christmas 34 years ago. Longest shot so far was a doe at 475 yrds lasered. It is a great shooter. I have a Shepherd range finding scope on it.
