I used to live in PA.Anybody heard yet what caused that house to explode in Pa? Could have been a build-up of natural gas, or someones homemade bomb factory, but I'm bettin' meth-lab.
The carbon footprint will never be under control with the likes of China and India!
Heard on the news last night that PA is now investigating the cause of that house explosion as being from a possible accumulation of gas from old uncapped gas/oil wells that dot the area. I'm still thinking meth lab.I used to live in PA.
I can't tell you what caused that, but I can give you ideas.
Many homes have heating with coal to this day, and coal dust is akin to gun powder, the ignition of the boiler can set it off which is why they are in basements.
Also fuel oil, which is reclaimed jet fuel and blend of other stuff. We had that, a 250 gallon fuel oil tank, chilling in the basement under our bedroom lol.
Oh hot days that fuel will expand and if not proper vent tubes on that tank it will fill a basement, an attic. It is just crazy.
Oh I ain't saying it wasn't sus.Heard on the news last night that PA is now investigating the cause of that house explosion as being from a possible accumulation of gas from old uncapped gas/oil wells that dot the area. I'm still thinking meth lab.
Long story short, while working apt maintenance (300 units) in Las Vegas back in about '87 a couple of us accidentally discovered a major meth lab in one of the upstairs apartments. Called police who called hazmat. Hazmat guys said there was enough volatile material (several 55-gal drums) that if it had detonated, it would have leveled half the apartment complex.
Taco Bell...Anybody heard yet what caused that house to explode in Pa? Could have been a build-up of natural gas, or someones homemade bomb factory, but I'm bettin' meth-lab.
