Put a feeder out yesterday afternoon, just in case. This morning, at about 7:00, cold, dark, rainy, I look out and, sure enough, a solitary little hummer was huddled on the feeder.

Better dig my feeders out. I was negligent and didn't pull them down until like January.

Ardmore. I had one last year on 4/1, I think.

I write on my calendar when I see the first Hbird. I then transfer that info to the new calender each year.

Over the years, I see the first day of April is the day to put the feeders out. I usually see them in the next few days.

I'm south of Guthrie.

We’ve had two feeders out for a week or so. Trying to get the early birds.

just finished making new, and rebuilding the old ant dams. the recent hail storm destroyed all my feeders and ant dams, time to make up some nectar and i'll put them out on the 2nd. sure like to have those little rascals hanging around, wasn't able to feed the birds much this winter, i couldn't get out much and just can't handle those 50 pound bags anymore. gonna plant one of my raised beds, maybe two, with sunflowers to help them out
