White as the driven snow. An old white guy even. An accountant, if you believe the news reports.

But I've been up since 2 and the story has changed so many times in the last few hours I've given up trying to even follow along.

QFT on politicization of everything today. On a news site, a very relevant comparison was made that this isn't nearly as many dead as the truck in Nice, France, i.e. don't focus on the hardware when the real issue lies elsewhere. If the shooter was "known to police", a central part of the story then becomes what did they know and was it at all actionable?

I wish news directors would interview firearm experts when these things happen. So much incorrect information, "high powered 223 military rounds", "clips they can attach to their weapons making them more deadly". Maybe the mis-information is intentional, but I have trouble believing that.

Surely it was a ghost gun with a fully semi automatic 30 round caliber assault clipazine and grenade launcher attachment
