i understand then call a vet say at el reno or chickasha check price should be cheaper,most everything in okc is higher,i hope everything works out
Update... Went alla way out there and you know was kinda hoping it wasnt her.. But she looked up and tail started swinging, no doubt she was glad to see daddy. We call many many MANY vets yesterday to get the skinny one of them said "you know, with something like this you should look into Care Credit.. its a credit line that only works for vet bills. It has a really high interest rate but has none if payed of within 6 months i think. Any how, that process took about 2 mins.. got the approval and she in Midwest city right now. Apparently, different doctors at the same vet charge different rate, because we called this place before on something i would consider much less of a problem and it was through the roof. The old school vet at the Midwest city vet hospital is working on her as he seemed to care more about the dog than how much he was going to charge. He broke down everything for us charge by charge and come out much cheaper than all of the "oh it'll be 500-800, 900-1200 depending on where we have to cut it off at"...So you charge more for cutting off more of her leg???? But thats another story for another time...
Sad ending, but could have been a lot worse.
