I don't like carrot cake, but yours was delicious. She said it was the best she's ever had and I've made her one from scratch before. 
She made a german chocolate cake the other day from a box and we didn't have any icing. She looked up a recipe and made some. It had like 3 sticks of butter in it. OMG it was so good. Best cake I'd ever eaten and it was still from a box.
If you've never tried it, put a piece of cake in a bowl and nuke it for 20 seconds in the microwave. Then cover the cake up to the icing in milk. Heaven.
