So my neighbor and I have 5 acres each. Heavily wooded. He decided last summer to build a chicken coop along the property line. Turns out its on mine side. He cemented in the foundation and would be a chore to move but could be done. I don't want a life long battle or for him to hate me but I just want it moved because I can see it through the trees with the leaves down and I just don't want it on my property. How would you guys go about starting this conversation with intent to maintain friendship ?
Offer to help move it.
If you moved it across the property line, could you still see it?
If it's on your land, either offer to help him move it or get him to sign a rental/lease agreement. Doing nothing is a Really Bad Option(tm).

Like mentioned above, you may still see it. I'd just say hey neighbor, I got to noticing your coop is on my side (kinda chuckle a little). You think WE could slide er over a lil.
I first thought you said kinda cluck a little.

If moved I could probably still see it but the fact that its on my side in my area just bothers me. I like cowcatcher's advice. Hope it goes well.
