Congrats sticky!

Saw a lot of deer today, only 2 bucks. Pulled the trigger this evening finally on a doe. They made their way across the wheat, which is a swamp, busted her when she hit the edge of the pasture at 142y. Instead of running forward, she makes a huge circle in the muddy wheat field, goes all the way back across the road............crosses the creek and dies. With some dennishoddy help and a 4wheeler, we retrieved her. Probably the furthest I've seen a deer go hit in the boiler. 139gr 7mm/08 out of a Lone Eagle.

Got my doe with a S&W .45LC pistol tonight. She made 40-50 yds and died in a wet weather creek. Complete pass through with a silver dollar sized entrance hole.

Waiting to see a 9mm make a hole like this. :D

Shot this guy last Wednesday morning. Blew a golden opportunity at a lone, mature doe Sunday morning. I've got to do something different next year. I didn't have any feeders, food plots, salt blocks or anything out this year. I didn't see near the traffic after opening morning that I usually do.

Didn't get anything this weekend, nothing moving at our lease out by Okemah. I'm still getting them on camera anywhere from 8:30pm - 5am. A lot of movement around Midnight - 2am mostly. Not sure if I will even bother to go out for the Holiday hunt.

So just to be clear since I'm new to this hunting stuff, since I didn't take a buck, I can get another doe for holiday antlerless Dec. 18-27th?
