A solid five hours and 45 minutes, over the last two days, on hold with NICS, and not one damn gun out the door. First thing tomorrow, I'll be back on hold for 2-3 hours. I can hardly wait....

I even heard today there's a possibility they could suspend NICS and all background checks for awhile.. System is overwhelmed, and many of the states they reach out to for info have closed up shop............

I wouldn't mind that one bit. One of the transfers sitting in the safe belongs to a guy who always gets "further review". The wait times really get long with "further review".... Twice, the battery in the mobile phone has run flat--first time after 1hr 58mins, second time after 1hr 57 minutes on hold.

It's still $2.09 in Ponca. Go out to the casino station it's $1.79.
I can drive to I-35 typically on the way to the farm and get cheaper gas than here in town. No competition, only one fuel jobber and they can set the price where they want it.

I am gonna buy more 5 gallon cans to fill up. I have a big generator and if I need to run it I want all the gas I can get. It runs my whole house.

I gotta feeling that a shelter in place order is coming. Having a generator isn't a bad idea at all since we are entering tornado season. Can you imagine a tornado knocking out power while under a quarantine?
