Yep, the sirloin for two at jumps and curly fries was the king! In its heyday you would wait for an hour to get a steak.When I was a kid the only place to eat steak in Osage county was in Fairfax at Jumps.
And I barely remember it but seems like we used to go to a place for BBQ in Ponca City called 'The Blue Moon'? The sauce was kind of a dark and thick sauce. Been a very long time since Ive been to Ponca. Have relatives there I need to go visit some day. Thats my Kaw side.
