Several threads in the Second Amendment forum but it removes the use of a suppressor for hunting for land owners and their guests. So basically all private land you either own or have permission to hunt on, you will be able to use a suppressor to hunt.
Silencerco has already posted the vote results on NFA Talk. They're the ones that paid a lobbyist to come to to OK and work for the bill.
Let's not forget Major Malfunction who testified at the Senate Committee meeting and put on a suppressor demo for the Senators yesterday. It is not only Silencerco that helped with the effort.
The main reason Silencerco helped is because they have formed the American Silencer Association with Advanced Armament Corp. and Gemtech. This is basically the NRA for the silencer industry.
While the help in backing this legislation as well as many other states is greatly appreciated, they are technically helping themselves at the same time.
