That is for Oklahoma County. Other counties can be different. And the 30K is for additional homestead exemption, not the primary one. I found out that income includes gambling winnings too if you get a W 2-G which my wife got this year when she hit a $7900 jackpot. Those can be offset by losses if you get a win/loss statement from the casinos you go to if you use a players club card.
What’s the Limit for the primary one? Couldn’t find anything online.

Oops looks there isn’t an income limit for the primary one, & it renews automatically. Found my exemption receipt for this year.

The pessimist in me says we'd better watch grocery prices closely as the tax cut is implemented. Seems like a good time for products and stores to nudge prices up and pocket 4%.
Grocery prices (as well as other items) are only high now because of the unfilled truck driver pool and companies paying upwards of $100k for a driver. There are over 80,000 drivers needed today.
That plus fuel prices and that all gets passed to the retailers who pass it to the consumer.

That's like trying to say the big automakers raising their ev prices $10k at the same time as a $10k tax credit was approved....oh wait, nevermind.

I thought the migrants were supposed to fill all these jobs so we could sit back and live like kings? Sarcasm

The driver shortage is real. A part of the problem is pay. Starting pay is not much more today than what I was making 20 years ago, as a driver. Not many are willing to put the time in required to have a decent income.

Another big part of the lack of drivers is INSURANCE COMPANIES. My grandson wants to drive. He couldn't get a job with training included. I paid for a driving school.
He couldn't get a job, because company INSURANCE requires 6 months - 2 years experience.
He went on harvest, drove truck LOADED WITH A COMBINE from here to Canada and back. Made 2 trips riding in pickup to Wyoming and driving equipment back. While on harvest, drove grain hauler.
Gets 6 months in. Companies will not hire, INSURANCE doesn't recognize farm work as experience.

How many others WANT to work, but aren't allowed? IF his name was Kunta Kinte Rodriquez, he had no DL, spoke no English and would work for half pay, he would be on the road before dark.
