Meers used to have really good burgers, 20+ years ago. We used to drive over from Rush Springs and get some bison burgers.
The original owners were nice old people, this was before it got all touristy with wait lines. We also used to go to the Old Plantation and visit with Granny/Papa.
My Grandparents were friends of theirs. I always loved their rolls with honey butter. Medicine park used to be a lot more run down back then, wish my parents had invested in property then! We usually eat at the café/bar with the patio that overlooks the river. pretty decent burgers there.

If you're into the whole "healthy burger" thing (which is sort of an oxymoron in and of itself), it might be worth mentioning that their burgers are made from their own herd of longhorn cattle which is (reportedly at least) managed without hormones or antibiotics.

Good pies, great country fired chicken, various random sides, crappy seats, tables, etc., usually friendly service - don't look into the kitchen or behind the seat cushions though just enjoy the food. Overall, not a bad place.
