This is a tree-hugger. (Explanation below.)



In 1969, the new bride and I went to northern California for my last year in the Army. She got to see Redwoods and the Pacific ocean for the first time in her life. After I got out, we never went back, and she had the feeling that we would never get out there again, so when we decided to go to Oregon for a while, she was happy to get back there again. While she is as conservative as I am, she still loved the Redwoods and getting her feet wet in the Pacific. She also loved us exploring the Oregon coast while we were out there.

Will we ever make it back? Who knows?

Lol! It was some folks tying hammocks between trees. They brought a lunch and planned to spend the day.

More than one today. Start with a bashful Marmot in the rocks of Sheepeater cliff near Gardner River in Yellowstone National Park. (He's bashful because he didn't want to get out into the sunlight, but stayed in the shadows.

Good evening gang.
Was up early with the grandson and we have been going strong all day. Spent 4 hours at the Science Museum. Thought that would wear him out. But nooooooo, we got home and have been playing chase, hot wheels and trouble. He has finally passed out on the couch. Now a little down time.
