David Grann gave an excellent talk on his research, his objectives in the method of writing the book, and only a few comments on the film production to come later. I didn't expect the event to be as entertaining and enlightening as it was. OCCC did a very good job of the presentation and reception afterward.

I loved the book. It's true crime, birth of the FBI and Oklahoma history all in one.

One of my friends wife's great grandpa was one of the Osages killed. Joe Bates. His descendants still ranch in Osage county.

I have to go up to Tulsa tomorrow for a couple of hours then on up to Grove for a few hours then back to OKC. Lot of driving tomorrow.
