Two questions:

1. Why on earth is the SWAT team serving delinquent student loan papers?
2. Who thought that was a good idea?

I understand that this is America and we tend to err on the side of caution, but who in the chain of command thought that this was even an acceptable use of resources? Whoever they are needs to be fired.

Okay, so they say they didn't kick in his door or hand-cuff him. I don't believe that for one second.

This isht is getting absolutely insane.

Fitting with our recent discussions regarding the necessity of some SWAT style raids...

Department of Education raid team kicks in a door in search of a woman with overdue student loans. All I can say is wow, and I hope there is more to the story.

There can't be more to the story. The SWAT was authorized by the Dept of Education. If there were more to the story such as some suspected criminal activity why would the DoE be responsible?

Just call it how you see it. A disgusting display of authority and power.
