What is up with some of the balls hit into the rough, the fans run toward the ball, turn their backs to it and form a circle?
If they are "protecting the ball", I'd think one or two course marshals could do the same? Don't know a whole lot about the rules, but since I'm basically out of any sport supporting BLM and being woke. Golf is the last to keep me as a fan although I don't play much. I'd have to give up a hobby to take up another one.
