Yep! It's NUTS!! A huge pet peeve of mine was when people (mostly women) would NOT get off their phone while I was checking them out. What the actual ****??
This is one time where you guys have us gals beat ... Even the young men, who one would "think" hadn't been taught better, or just wouldn't care, would invariably say "Hang on a minute ..." and make themselves available for questions I might need to ask, or questions they might have about pricing, etc. and so I wouldn't have to "Ahem" several times to get their attention so they could pay me and go on. Job well done, guys!
