I know its about as redneck as it gets, but there is a pickup parked over by the farm in a pasture, that has a sissor lift mounted on the flat bed. Looks like its been there for awhile, and bet it doesn't work any more. I'm guessing they drove it to where they wanted to put it up, got in the lift, and waited...
This is a pic of a stand that I built a couple of years ago. Its mainly used during the youth gun deer season. 4X6 in size so there is room for a parent and kid + me.
I have so few trees on this place, that the deer have taken to using the tower legs for rubs.
the extension ladder has been replaced with a good steel ladder.
Some people have to much money.
Built from scrap and packing crates salvaged from work. Some of the steel legs are 2' long pieces and welded together to make the length.
