Guess that I'm the odd duck, but I prefer thin & crispy to the others. However, don't get me wrong, I'll eat any of the above because any pizza is better than no pizza!
I think I know the guy you mean. There was an outstanding Chicago-style place on the corner of Chautauqua and Imhoff, in the same building as the 7-11, for a little while. He had some amazing subs, too—the one with meatballs was my favorite. I was surprised when they closed the doors, because what they had was excellent and unique, even in a city that had as many pizza joints as Mexican restaurants.
I even like spinach and Alfredo sauce sometimes. As long as with chicken, bacon, diced tomato and extra cheese. Only thing I have found that I do not like on pizza is anchovies. Hold the dead fish please.
Being from detroit, "square detroit style" pizza. Tony's in Yukon is good. And he grew up in detroit.

The Fungus Among Us and Foghorn Leghorn at Empire are my 2 favs. Hall's used to be our favorite but last couple of times their crust was soggy - either too much sauce or too many toppings, not sure but haven't been back in a while.

Oklahoma prefers Chicago style? I have eaten Uno's pizza in Chicago and I have found nothing like it in Oklahoma. How am I missing this?
