During our winter stay in the Sonoran desert we toured a museum in Globe Az that’s called Besh Ba Gowah.
It’s an old settlement of the Salgado people.
The museum grounds keepers were thinning some cactus and aloe Vera plants from the grounds, giving them away, so we took one of each.
The cactus is a strawberry hedgehog cactus.
Both plants are in full bloom right now.

I got full med supers on top of deeps that I was gonna let em keep, I added another super and am hoping it is about 3 weeks out
Mine always has excess honey coming out of winter. Bad about backfilling the brood nest in the spring. I'll leave enough in the fall for them.
