Chicken farmers in Arkansas and the surrounding states use alligators as a resource to get rid of dead chickens they use to have to pay to take to landfills.
The gators eat, grow, reproduce and as a by product when the gators get big enough, they are used and sold for their skins and meat. Perfect way to recycle.

I saw a scrawny little fox today at Lake Overholser, coming out of the drainage ditch that leads out of that Gatorade community on the south of NW 23rd, west of the parking at PC West. Then, at 1 in the afternoon there was a white-tailed die wandering around in that open pasture on the west side of Council, south of Cooper Middle School and north of NW 50th Street. Thought it was kinda odd she was up moving around in the heat of the day.

Saw more wildlife today than just have in a couple of years, not counting birds. Lol
